PRE-ARRIVAL INFORMATION GUIDE FOR FOREIGN TRAVELERS ENTERING VIETNAM IN 2026

Nhằm hỗ trợ người nước ngoài thực hiện thủ tục nhập cảnh thuận tiện hơn và giảm thời gian chờ tại khu vực kiểm soát xuất nhập cảnh, Việt Nam đã triển khai Hệ thống cung cấp thông tin trước chuyến đi – Pre-arrival Information (PAI).

To help foreign travelers complete immigration procedures more efficiently and reduce waiting time at immigration checkpoints, Vietnam has introduced the Pre-arrival Information (PAI) system.

Hệ thống cho phép người nước ngoài chủ động cung cấp một số thông tin cá nhân, hộ chiếu, visa, chuyến bay và nơi lưu trú tại Việt Nam trước khi nhập cảnh.

The system allows foreign travelers to provide relevant personal, passport, visa, flight, and accommodation information before entering Vietnam.

Pre-arrival Information (PAI) có bắt buộc không?

Is Pre-arrival Information (PAI) mandatory?

Hiện nay, việc khai báo PAI đang được triển khai theo hình thức tự nguyện, không bắt buộc. Tuy nhiên, người nước ngoài được khuyến nghị khai báo trước để quá trình nhập cảnh diễn ra thuận tiện và nhanh chóng hơn.

At present, the PAI declaration is implemented on a voluntary and non-mandatory basis. However, foreign travelers are encouraged to submit their information in advance for a smoother and faster immigration process.

Hệ thống hiện được triển khai thí điểm đối với người nước ngoài nhập cảnh tại 05 sân bay quốc tế:

• Tân Sơn Nhất
• Nội Bài
• Đà Nẵng
• Cam Ranh
• Phú Quốc

The system is currently being piloted for foreign nationals entering Vietnam through the following 5 international airports:

• Tan Son Nhat International Airport
• Noi Bai International Airport
• Da Nang International Airport
• Cam Ranh International Airport
• Phu Quoc International Airport

Khi nào nên thực hiện khai báo?

When should the declaration be submitted?

Người nước ngoài nên thực hiện khai báo trong vòng 03 ngày trước thời điểm dự kiến nhập cảnh Việt Nam.

Foreign travelers are advised to submit the declaration within 03 days before their expected entry into Vietnam.

Việc hoàn thành khai báo sớm giúp hành khách có thời gian kiểm tra lại thông tin, điều chỉnh sai sót nếu có và lưu mã QR trước ngày bay.

Submitting the information early gives travelers enough time to review their details, correct any mistakes, and save the QR confirmation before departure.

Information to prepare before submitting

Trước khi thực hiện khai báo, người nhập cảnh nên chuẩn bị:

• Hộ chiếu còn giá trị sử dụng
• Thông tin visa, nếu có
• Số hiệu chuyến bay
• Ngày dự kiến nhập cảnh
• Địa chỉ nơi lưu trú tại Việt Nam
• Email đang sử dụng

Before starting the declaration, travelers should prepare:

• A valid passport
• Visa information, if applicable
• Flight number
• Expected date of entry
• Accommodation address in Vietnam
• An active email address

Bước 1: Truy cập hệ thống chính thức

Sau đó thực hiện xác thực theo yêu cầu của hệ thống.

Bước 3: Nhập thông tin cá nhân

Step 3: Enter personal information

Người khai cần nhập chính xác thông tin theo hộ chiếu, bao gồm:

• Họ và tên
• Ngày tháng năm sinh
• Quốc tịch
• Số hộ chiếu
• Ngày cấp
• Ngày hết hạn hộ chiếu

Travelers must enter their passport information accurately, including:

• Full name
• Date of birth
• Nationality
• Passport number
• Date of issue
• Passport expiry date

Thông tin nên được nhập đúng từng ký tự để tránh sai lệch khi đối chiếu tại cửa khẩu.

All information should exactly match the passport to avoid discrepancies during immigration checks.

Bước 4: Khai báo thông tin visa

Step 4: Provide visa information

Tại mục Visa Type / Purpose, người khai cần lựa chọn đúng loại visa và mục đích nhập cảnh tương ứng.

Under Visa Type / Purpose, travelers should select the correct visa category and purpose of entry.

• Đầu tư
• Thăm thân

Bước 5: Khai báo thông tin chuyến đi

Step 5: Provide travel information

Người nhập cảnh tiếp tục khai báo:

• Số hiệu chuyến bay
• Ngày nhập cảnh
• Sân bay nhập cảnh
• Tên nơi lưu trú
• Địa chỉ lưu trú tại Việt Nam

Travelers should then provide:

• Flight number
• Date of entry
• Port of entry
• Name of accommodation
• Accommodation address in Vietnam

Bước 6: Kiểm tra và gửi thông tin

Step 6: Review and submit

Trước khi nhấn Submit, cần kiểm tra kỹ:

• Họ tên
• Số hộ chiếu
• Quốc tịch
• Thông tin visa
• Ngày nhập cảnh
• Số hiệu chuyến bay
• Nơi lưu trú

Before clicking Submit, carefully review:

• Full name
• Passport number
• Nationality
• Visa information
• Date of entry
• Flight details
• Accommodation information

Bước 7: Lưu mã QR xác nhận

Step 7: Save the confirmation QR code

Sau khi gửi thành công, hệ thống sẽ cung cấp mã QR xác nhận.

After successful submission, the system will provide a confirmation QR code.

Người nhập cảnh nên:

• Lưu mã QR vào điện thoại
• Chụp màn hình
• Lưu bản offline
• Hoặc in ra giấy để mang theo

Travelers are advised to:

• Save the QR code on their phone
• Take a screenshot
• Keep an offline copy
• Or print it out and carry it with them

Một số lưu ý quan trọng

Important notes

Mỗi hành khách nên thực hiện khai báo theo thông tin hộ chiếu của mình.

Each traveler should submit information based on their own passport details.

Trẻ em có hộ chiếu riêng cũng cần được khai báo riêng nếu thuộc trường hợp thực hiện PAI.

Children holding their own passports should also have a separate declaration where applicable.

Người nước ngoài cần đặc biệt kiểm tra chính xác số hộ chiếu, họ tên và ngày nhập cảnh trước khi gửi thông tin.

Foreign travelers should pay particular attention to their passport number, full name, and date of entry before submission.

Cảnh báo website giả mạo

Warning about fraudulent websites

Người nước ngoài cần cảnh giác với các website giả mạo hệ thống PAI nhằm thu thập thông tin cá nhân, thông tin hộ chiếu hoặc dữ liệu thanh toán.

Foreign travelers should be cautious of fraudulent websites impersonating the PAI system in order to collect personal, passport, or payment information.

Không cung cấp thông tin hộ chiếu, dữ liệu cá nhân hoặc thông tin thanh toán trên các website không rõ nguồn gốc.

What else should foreign travelers check before entering Vietnam?

Ngoài việc khai báo PAI, người nước ngoài nên kiểm tra:

• Hộ chiếu còn hạn
• Visa Việt Nam còn hiệu lực
• Thời hạn được phép lưu trú
• Số lần nhập cảnh
• Mục đích nhập cảnh
• Thông tin doanh nghiệp bảo lãnh nếu nhập cảnh để làm việc
• Giấy phép lao động hoặc xác nhận miễn giấy phép lao động nếu có liên quan

In addition to the PAI declaration, foreign nationals should also check:

• Passport validity
• Validity of the Vietnam visa
• Permitted length of stay
• Number of permitted entries
• Purpose of entry
• Sponsoring company information, if entering for employment
• Work Permit or Work Permit exemption documents, where applicable

Đối với người nước ngoài nhập cảnh Việt Nam để làm việc, đầu tư hoặc lưu trú dài hạn, tùy từng trường hợp còn có thể phát sinh thủ tục về Giấy phép lao động, thị thực, thẻ tạm trú hoặc xác nhận không thuộc diện cấp giấy phép lao động.

For foreign nationals entering Vietnam for employment, investment, or long-term residence, additional procedures may be required depending on the case, including Work Permits, Visa, Temporary Residence Cards, or Work Permit exemption certificates.
